Course Outline

The course has three primary approaches for training. First, video lessons, hands-on labs, and practice tests help you train effectively.

There are 112 video lessons which are subdivided into eight subcategories. Each subcategory covers a unique topic. The topics the program covers using the video lessons are AWS core services (part 1 to part 3), Cloud concept, Security and monitoring, and Cloud architecture design.

On the other hand, there are 23 hands-on labs available to help with your training. Among the lab activities, you'll carry out include but are not limited to Launching EC2 Machine and SSH using Putty, Creating an S3 Bucket, creating a Lambda function and testing it, Creating a CloudWatch Dashboard for EC2 Instance, Allocating Elastic IP and Associating it to EC2 Instance, and Creating IAM Policies.

Finally, there are nine practice tests with content distributed topic-wise. You'll begin with one free Test, which encompasses 65 questions. You'll then need to proceed to the practice test. In this category, there are four tests, each having 65 questions. Finally, you conclude with a section test which has four tests. The four final tests are the Cloud concept; 14 questions, Security; 11, technology; 15 and billing and pricing; and 13 questions.

Pricing

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner has several discounted pricing plans. For instance, the practice tests cost $12.95, down from $25.95. Online courses, on the other hand, cost $7.95, down from $25.95. Finally, the hands-on lab is the most expensive of the three, with a pricing plan of $20.90, down from $51.90.

Other payment plans include:

• Standard Payment Plan. This plan is the most affordable plan you will get. It charges $12.95 per month and is billed $38.85 quarterly.

Prerequisite Requirements

Before taking the AWS-certified cloud practitioner exam, you must satisfy the following requirements.

Exams Information (CLF-CO1)

You have to do an exam to receive a valid certification. The exam has 65 questions and will take 90 minutes to finish. The passing marks are 65 - 75%, below which you'll have failed. There are no prerequisite certification requirements other than at least 6 months of AWS cloud platform practical experience, the technical know-how of AWS economics handling, and prior knowledge of Cloud implementation, design, and operations. However, you'll need to pay a $100 exam fee before sitting the exam. The exam is valid for three years.
